COMPLETE FRONT YARD LANDSCAPE TRANSFORMATION
Structured Curb Appeal With Clean Lines and Layered Plantings
Retaining Walls, Landscape Design, Plantings, Bed Edging, and Front Entry Enhancements
The Project
This Southeast Michigan property had a strong home design, but the front landscape didn’t match the level of investment or attention the homeowners had put into the rest of the property.
The existing beds lacked structure, the front entry felt underdefined, and the landscaping didn’t create the kind of first impression the homeowners wanted when pulling into the driveway.
GLC Landscaping & Pools redesigned the front yard with a clean, organized layout that better framed the architecture of the home and created stronger visual flow across the property.
Curved retaining walls were installed to add definition and elevation to the front planting beds while creating a smoother transition across the yard. The sweeping wall layout softened the front elevation of the home and naturally guided attention toward the front entry.
New landscape beds were built with layered plantings, ornamental trees, and low-maintenance shrubs selected to provide texture, balance, and seasonal color without overwhelming the space. Fresh mulch and clean edging helped unify the design and give the entire front yard a more polished appearance.
The finished landscape gives the home a stronger sense of arrival and a more complete, professionally
designed appearance from the street.
Every part of the project started with a clear plan.
GLC worked closely with the homeowners to understand how they wanted the property to look, feel, and function. The team evaluated grading, sightlines, planting opportunities, and how the landscape could better complement the scale and style of the home.
Once the design was finalized, GLC’s in-house team handled installation from start to finish, including wall construction, bed preparation, planting installation, and final detailing.
Because the project was managed by one organized team, the homeowners always knew what was happening next and could feel confident the work was being completed the right way.
