HURON TOWNSHIP, MI
A Backyard Worth Coming Home To
Fiberglass Pool, Integrated Spa, Automatic Pool Cover, Paver Patio and Fire Pit
The Project
This Huron Township property sits on a generous lot surrounded by mature trees that create a natural sense of privacy and seclusion. The goal was to build a complete backyard living space with one clear plan from the start.
GLC Landscaping & Pools installed a rectangular fiberglass pool with an integrated raised spa and automatic pool cover. The large format paver surround was planned alongside the pool so every surface and transition worked together as one cohesive space. Black aluminum pool fencing frames the perimeter cleanly while keeping the view of the surrounding tree line intact. A wood burning fire pit anchors the outdoor living area and gives the space a natural gathering point beyond the pool. Decorative stone landscape beds border the patio and give the full space a finished, polished edge.
The finished backyard gives the Westerbeeks a private outdoor retreat they can use comfortably from the moment the cover opens to long evenings gathered around the fire with family and friends.
From the Westerbeeks
"GLC has been our landscaper of choice since we finished our home in Huron Township back in late 2020. When we learned that they had recently ventured into the pool installation business, we had full confidence in GLC's ability to get the job done with excellence and professionalism.
Even though we were only their third pool installation project, this experience was 100x better than the pools we installed at our last two homes with well established pool companies. We will continue to use GLC for any future outdoor projects and we highly recommend them. Thank you to Gino, Eileen, and the entire GLC team for another job well done."

The Result
The Westerbeek backyard now feels complete, connected and ready to use. What began as an open lot became a private outdoor living space with a pool, spa, patio and fire pit all designed to work together from day one.
Instead of managing separate contractors or piecing the project together over time, the family gained one cohesive backyard retreat with clean transitions, durable materials and defined spaces for swimming, relaxing and gathering.
