The Project

This beautiful property backs up to open water with views that stretch across the river from every corner of the backyard. It is the kind of setting that deserves an outdoor space built around it. The existing patio did not deliver that. It was outdated, did not reflect the home, and did not match the way the family wanted to live outside. They came to GLC Landscaping & Pools ready for a change.

GLC designed and installed a large-format paver patio with a warm blend of tones that complement the home and the natural character of the waterfront setting. The layout follows a gentle curve that traces the edge of the property and keeps the water view open from every seating area. A built-in circular fire pit anchors one end of the patio and gives the space a defined place to gather after dark. Manicured boxwood hedging and refreshed landscape beds frame the finished space cleanly against the lawn and the water beyond.

The Morris family now has a backyard that finally feels like it belongs on the property it sits on.
