Our Huron Township, MI Fiberglass Pool Build Is Imagine Pools' June 2026 Pool of the Month
Imagine Pools named a fiberglass pool project our team built in Huron Township, MI as its June 2026 Pool of the Month. The build pairs a Freedom 34 pool with a splash pad in Ice Silver with a matching Dream Spa, set into a new construction property that backs up to wooded acreage.
GLC Landscaping & Pools has served Southeast Michigan from our Flat Rock base since 2003, and the pool side of the business grew out of years of landscape and hardscape work for families across Wayne County.

The Freedom 34 And Its Matching Dream Spa
The pool is a Freedom 34 with a splash pad, finished in Ice Silver and paired with a Dream Spa in the same color. Setting a pool that size took a crane large enough that the road closed for the day, which turned installation into a neighborhood event.
The pool and spa run on separate heater systems. That decision keeps the spa in use through a Michigan winter, months after the pool closes for the season, and it gives the family a reason to walk outside in January.
What This Huron Township Backyard Includes
The pool is heated and saltwater chlorinated, with three in pool lights for evening swims and an automatic pool cover that keeps debris out and simplifies closing at the end of the season. A Badu SwimJet system rounds out the build, letting a swimmer train in place against a steady current instead of turning laps.
Around the water, our crew installed Unilock brick pavers and expanded the patio seating so the whole family has somewhere to land. The homeowners have adult children who live nearby, and the pool and spa have become the reason everyone lingers a little longer after dinner.
A 2025 Environmental Improvement Award For The Same Project
This backyard also earned GLC a 2025 Environmental Improvement Award, a state level honor within the green industry that recognizes standout backyard transformations. Projects are nominated with photos and then reviewed in person, so the award reflects the finished work rather than the paperwork behind it.
Two awards for one project says something about the homeowners as well. They came to us after years of landscaping work in Huron Charter Township, from bed conversions to a paver patio for their wood burning fire pit, and that history made the pool conversation an easy one.
